JEROMESVILLE, Ohio -- Hillsdale Local Schools is accepting kindergarten registration for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year! If your little one is ready to take their first steps into the world of education, it will be the perfect time to enroll them in our kindergarten program.
Please schedule an appointment to register. Thank you for your cooperation and prompt action.
How to Register:
The first step is to contact Mrs. Angie Sigler, PK-6 Administrative Assistant, for a registration appointment.
Call Mrs. Sigler at 419-368-4364.
Appointments will be held on:

Wednesday, February 25, 2026, or

Tuesday, March 3, 2026
- 3:30-5:30 PM
At the appointment, you'll present the required documents listed above in addition to the parent's driver's license.
Then, beginning June 1, 2026, enroll your kindergartener for the 2026-20267 school year on Final Forms. Use the "New Student" tab for this purpose.
Current Little Falcons Preschool Students
- If an eligible child currently attends Little Falcons Preschool and our staff has already been notified that the student will be attending Kindergarten, a registration appointment is not required.
- If an eligible child currently attends Little Falcons Preschool and our staff has not been notified that the student will be attending Kindergarten, parents should contact the school office at 419-368-4364.
To ensure a smooth registration process, here's what you need to know:
Age Requirement:
To be eligible for kindergarten admission, your child must turn 5 years old on or before August 19 for the school year for which you are registering.
Required Documents:
We kindly ask families to prepare the following documents for registration:
- Certified birth certificate of the child (not the hospital record)
- Complete immunization record
- Proof of residency (e.g., lease agreement, electric bill, gas bill, etc.)
- Copy of parent's photo ID
- Custody/adoption papers if applicable
- ETR/IEP or 504 plan (if applicable)
Safety Town Details:
Hillsdale Local Schools is excited to host Safety Town at Hillsdale PK-6 from August 3-6, 2026, offering an engaging and educational experience for children entering kindergarten.
- Dates & Time: August 3-6, 2026 | 9-11:30 AM
- Location: Hillsdale PK-6 School
- Cost: $25 (includes materials & a Safety Town T-shirt)
Safety Town is a hands-on program designed to introduce young learners to essential safety topics, including traffic rules, stranger awareness, fire safety, and more. The program wraps up with a special graduation ceremony on August 6 at 11 AM for families to celebrate their child’s participation.
To register, please complete the form and submit it with the $25 fee by June 8 to Hillsdale PK-6. Checks should be made payable to Hillsdale Local Schools. Unfortunately, late registrations cannot be honored.
